Where should I start the story? How are they ordered chronologically? I read about Heath, and I’ve read all four parts of this series but I hated getting to part 5 and realizing you tied in other series that happened before this one
The Portal in the Forest series would be a good place to start. The House Beyond The Edge series is also by this same narrator about events in his life growing up. I try to write each series as its own arc so reading the others isn’t completely necessary, though.
